Poetto is one of the loveliest beaches throughout the Mediterranean; a 7km expanse of sand overlooked from the Sella del Diavolo (Devil’s Saddle) cape. Legend narrates that on falling into the sea with his saddle, Lucifer left his print on the rock, hence the term Devil’s Saddle.
